What is BubbleBat?

BubbleBat is a free browser arcade game about climbing. You play a small bat that stays airborne by bouncing off bubbles, and every bubble you tap in sequence extends the chain and lifts you higher. The whole game is timing: bounce too early and you lose height, hesitate and you drop. Big bubbles give you a wider landing zone and a moment to breathe, while small ones demand precision. BubbleBat is the first cassette on The Lost Games shelf, catalogued as TLG-01, and it plays in a desktop or mobile browser with no download or sign-up.

The core loop is simple to learn and hard to master. You drift left and right with WASD or the arrow keys, fire a bubble with Space, and use each one as a stepping stone. Chain several in a row and the climb accelerates; miss one and you fall back to your last safe height. The recovered tips printed on the cassette label say it best: drift first, boost second.

On a phone or tablet the arcade adds on-screen fly, bubble, and start controls, so the game works with touch as well as a keyboard. It launches inside The Lost Games cabinet rather than as a separate download, which means your language setting and audio toggle carry over from the arcade.
