What is RubixWRLD?

RubixWRLD is a free browser puzzle game that turns a twisting puzzle cube into six small worlds. Each face of the cube is its own voxel landscape, Grassland, Volcano, Glacier, Dunes, Reef, and Amethyst, and scrambling the cube cuts those worlds into pieces. Drag a sticker to turn its layer, drag the sky to spin the whole cube, and rebuild every world. Rivers and roads run cleanly across a solved face, so a broken river points straight at the piece that is out of place. RubixWRLD counts your moves and your time, and it is catalogued as TLG-21 on The Lost Games shelf.

Solving is visual rather than a matter of memorised algorithms. The map in the corner shows all six faces at once, and tapping a face flies the camera straight to it, or you can press 1 to 6 to jump to a world. Scroll or pinch to zoom, S scrambles the cube, Z undoes a turn, and R resets it to solved.

The worlds are built so a solved face reads at a glance: when a world is whole, its terrain lines up from edge to edge. The cassette tips cover everything you need to start: drag a sticker to turn its layer, use the corner map to find each face, follow the rivers and roads, and undo a turn with Z. RubixWRLD works with a mouse on desktop and with touch on phones and tablets.
