What is Wordventure?
Wordventure is a free browser action game with a magic notebook at its centre. Ten paper-craft worlds are overrun with ink goons, and you fight them with punches, kicks, and combos, but the real weapon is the notebook: press T, write any word, and it appears in the world as an object with looks and behaviour inferred from the word itself. Type ball, dragon, trampoline, pizza, or wall and each one behaves differently. Landing hits earns ink, and ink pays for what you write. Wordventure is catalogued as TLG-10 on The Lost Games shelf and supports keyboard, touch, and controllers.
The fighting is deliberate: J punches, K kicks, and chaining hits builds combos that earn ink. Holding L slows time, which is how you set up a combo or dodge a crowd. The notebook allows one object per entry, and Enter writes it into the world, so choosing the right word at the right moment is the strategic layer under the brawling.
Wordventure's paper aesthetic is hand-built for the browser, and the web build detects Xbox, PlayStation, and generic controllers alongside keyboard and touch. On mobile the arcade provides move, jump, punch, kick, slow-motion, and notebook controls.
