What is Roomquake?

Roomquake is a free browser physics action game with one rule: you do not throw the furniture, you throw the room. Hold Space and tap a direction and the whole room lurches, sending light things flying, medium things sliding, and heavy things barely moving. Only a roomquake shifts a fridge. Shake too hard and the stability meter empties, and then the room jolts on its own. Across five missions set in an apartment and a laundromat, you shake your way out of a locked home, herd sock gremlins, and hunt for a lost phone, all under the tagline Don't Wake the Building. Roomquake is catalogued as TLG-20 on The Lost Games shelf.

Each of the five missions twists the same mechanic. Get to Class begins with your roommate locking the front door, so you have to find another way out. The Gremlins moves to the Suds & Spin laundromat, where sock gremlins must be shaken into a cart or a hamper. Don't Break the Computer asks you to clear the intruders while the computer on the bedroom desk survives. Moving Day needs three boxes out of the bedroom and into the hallway, and Where's My Phone? has you shaking the apartment until it turns up.

You move with WASD, pick things up and put them down with E, dodge with Shift, and pause with Esc. Momentum carries through doorways, so lining objects up before a shake lets one quake travel through several rooms, and anything a flung chair hits gets hit harder. On a phone you swipe one side of the screen to shake the room, with grab and dodge buttons on the other.
